On the third day of our journey, we temporarily leave lively Vienna and dive into the rural idyll of Lower Austria. Welcome to Waldland, where agriculture takes on a new meaning. A Transgourmet partner farm shows us how sustainable poultry farming and fish farming can be. Before we continue, we have a fine snack. Our next stop on this exciting journey takes us to the Domäne Wachau in Dürnstein. The tour of this award-winning winery and the subsequent wine tasting show us that first-class wines and breathtaking locations can form a perfect symbiosis. A highlight of the day is certainly also the Zillenfahrt (small boat) on the Danube, which offers us not only an impressive view, but also the opportunity to experience the region from a whole new perspective. The weather plays along and spoils us with bright October weather while we taste noble drops on the boat.
